Scott Breakwell, a former macro and foreign exchange trader at Millennium, has joined Steven Cohen’s Point72 hedge fund in Sydney.
Breakwell spent just over a year at Millennium, and prior to that was Bank of America’s head of FX forwards trading for Asia, also based in Sydney. Much of his career was at Deutsche Bank as a senior short-term interest rates and FX trader.
A Point72 spokesperson declined to comment.
His appointment comes at an interesting time for hedge funds looking to trade Aussie
